Purse First
When creating outfits, purses are often seen as one of the finishing touches, but it should be known that this accessory is an unsung hero to any outfit. I never undervalue the purse because it’s a piece that perfectly pulls together both style and functionality, keeping you looking your best while also carrying everything you need for wherever your day takes you! There’s nothing I love more than rich chocolate-coloured leather, except maybe a bag with an equally rich story behind it. I love this bag of Nicole’s because it is truly unique, as she found it in a small leather shop while travelling in Udaipur, India. There’s something so special about purchasing purses while you’re travelling. Doing this allows you to think of these special adventures every time you reach for the bag. In addition to looking for one-of-a-kind purses, I encourage you to look for rich neutrals. There’s something about chocolate brown like this that always looks and feels luxe to me. Not to mention, this colour of leather only gets better with age, the more worn, the more distinct and visually interesting.
Unique Details
We’re all about individualizing your style here at AHS, yes we like trends here and there, but we always feel it’s more important to embrace your own unique style. This bag is beautifully unique with its slouchy, relaxed boho style. The reversible cognac suede and leather fabrication is eye-catching, yet subtle.
